I believe that the key to language learning is being comfortable with making mistakes and having the ability to learn from them. Even native speakers make mistakes in their mother tongue, so it is important that students have the confidence to speak a foreign language without being worried about errors or mistakes. As a result, my lessons aim to make the student feel comfortable and relaxed about learning. I am willing to cater to any level of language learning and should students have ideas about how they feel they learn best, then I am more than willing to listen and adapt lessons accordingly depending on the needs or goals of the student.

My background in language learning has helped me to understand what works best when it comes to studying a foreign language, as it is a very unique form of learning that is different from any other subject. Language learning is about acquiring the tools to be able to express yourself and as a result my lessons are very interactive and heavily involve both spoken and written dialogue in order to encourage the student to think on the spot and not be afraid of making mistakes. In order to really learn a language, it is important to put in work outside of lessons, such as consuming material in the target language (this could range from reading news articles, to listening to music or radio shows, to watching films or series in the language) and I would be more than happy to supply materials and ideas for students to be able to continue their learning experience away from lessons.

If you have any questions or enquiries about the lessons and methods of teaching, then feel free to get in touch and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you!
