My lessons are all about making history clear, engaging, and; dare I say; actually enjoyable! Whether you’re preparing for an exam, working through coursework, or just want to build confidence in your understanding of the past, I tailor each session to your needs, goals, and learning style.

I offer one-on-one sessions via whatever platform works best for you; whether that’s Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Google Meet, or anything else you’re comfortable with. I’m flexible and easy to work with, and I always aim to create a relaxed, friendly environment where you can feel comfortable asking questions and working through topics at your own pace.

Lessons can include visual aids (timelines, maps, diagrams), interactive quizzes, source analysis exercises, writing support, or just good old-fashioned discussion; depending on what helps you learn best. I break down complex topics into manageable parts, help you understand exam questions and mark schemes, and teach revision strategies that actually stick.

I’ve supported learners of all ages and backgrounds; from secondary school students to adult learners; including those with additional learning needs. My time volunteering at Doncaster Museum also gave me great experience in explaining historical topics in accessible and engaging ways.
