My lessons are very laid back. I prefer to share the notes with you before hand then take you through them to validate the knowledge and give you the chance to outline and highlight any points that you or I feel are worth paying special attention to. When I ask you to do something practical, I follow a simple procedure of showing, testing, correcting, repeating until you feel confident in your knowledge of programming.
I tend to focus on programming in VB.net and C# as I feel this allows a student to really grasp the fundamentals of what they are doing and make it much easier for them to jump to any other languages that they may choose. I will also be making use of Lua and the Love framework to demonstrate games programming and the use of Unity to introduce graphics.
I prefer to work online therefore it is essential that you have your own machine from which you can work. I do not use any external paid software so you will only be needing to pay for the classes that you take with me.
I myself am suffer from certain learning deficiencies and so have plenty of tolerance and experience with students who may suffer from certain educational difficulties and am willing to adapt my approach to your individual needs.
I'm very passionate about the subject of computer science and I hope that my passion can inspire you to enter the subject that rebuilds the world from scratch every single day.
