I like to teach in a manner which students would find entertaining, such as using real life scenarios to try and simplify and engrave certain techniques into their memories. In a series of slideshows and videos for those with photographic memories. I took up psychology in a level so I have enhanced knowledge on how the memory works and what is needed in order to achieve a high grade. I achieved an 8 in my GCSEs 2 years ago so I have some deep knowledge on how the mark scheme is and how questions are worded to trick students taking the examination. My strengths in maths are particularly algebra, so if your child or you are struggling with algebra or certain areas of maths, I would say I have a great understanding on them. I also have a UK drivers licence so I can visit face to face around Lancashire and greater Manchester if needed. I understand how struggling and mentally draining mathematics can sometimes be so I would describe myself as empathetic and very patient in that sense. My goal is to achieve an improvement in the students that I tutor. I’m hard working and very good with people as I have worked in a waitering job for 2 years. I have tutored before to family members and friends in which have needed help with maths as I believe some areas are particularly challenging.
