I would like to help students better understand the concepts in physics behind the equations and maths as this makes revision less boring memorisation and help you get better results. The most important thing is for me to tailor my lesson plans to your needs and make sure you are satisfied and get great value from our lessons. Any specific topics or questions or queries I am happy to go over and help you feel confident, as well as providing insight and advice for exam performance. My most important goal is to keep you engaged and looking forward to learning, improving and expanding your knowledge instead of being bored or unsatisfied which is why its so important to provide a unique learning experience for each student. Generally to teach I think it’s best to try and get the students to answer questions together until they can answer the questions independently instead of lecturing/telling them what to do and then getting them to answer questions by themselves, and many students are visual or auditory learners so I like to explain topics and use visual tools while encouraging all questions, as this is more engaging and useful than lecturing students the majority of the time. I like to use textbooks, tailor questions for students to build confidence and deeper understanding of topics and which when applied will lead you to acing your exams! I am Currently studying nuclear engineering, with part 1 (year 1) complete with score equivalent to a first. For physics A level I’m very familiar with AQA and am especially passionate and knowledgeable about electronics/electricity and nuclear physics.
