My lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs and interests. I draw on my background as a mixed media artist and fashion communication specialist to create lessons that combine technical skills with creative exploration. Depending on the student’s goals, lessons can range from practical skill-building - such as drawing, painting, screen printing, collage, and photography - to developing visual storytelling, personal projects, and portfolio preparation. I also offer lessons focused on fashion history, trend analysis, and contemporary art and design movements to provide a broader cultural context that inspires creative work.

Each session typically begins with a discussion of the student’s goals or current projects, followed by step-by-step guidance through techniques, creative exercises, or concept development. I encourage an open dialogue throughout, so students feel comfortable asking questions and experimenting without fear of making mistakes. I believe in balancing technical instruction with opportunities for self-expression, helping students refine their style and build confidence in their creative abilities.

With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Integrated Design and Photography from Parsons School of Design and hands-on experience in the fashion industry - including creative direction, styling, and editorial work - I bring both professional insight and artistic knowledge to my teaching. I’ve exhibited my own mixed media work in galleries and art fairs, and I aim to share not only practical skills but also a deeper understanding of the creative process. Having benefitted from wonderful tutors myself, I strive to create lessons that are not only informative but also motivating and enjoyable, giving students a space to grow and develop their artistic voice.
