I have a Bachelor's Degree in Modern Languages and have been taking language classes since the age of 12. I am a native Norwegian speaker, and have been tutoring Norwegian privately for almost a year. I offer online lessons over Zoom, and my lessons are varied with a particular emphasis on vocabulary and grammar, as well as reading and speaking skills.

The format of my lessons depends on the student's preferences and include, but are not limited to, informative and/or interactive power-points, grammar and reading exercises, speaking and conversation practice, and the use of flash cards. I provide consistent feedback on work, with positive aspects emphasised, as well as highlighting areas for improvement in a non-judgemental and friendly manner. Remember, it is more than ok to make mistakes, that's what learning is all about!

I know that different students have different learning styles and priorities when it comes to learning languages (some people, for instance, prefer to focus more on reading and listening skills than on speaking and writing, and vice versa), and I am more than willing to accommodate whatever goals you have with your language learning, be it to hold a conversation or even move to Norway!
