Are you aiming to achieve the top grades in your GCSEs? My tutoring sessions are designed to help you do just that! With A* grades in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at A level and 9s in all these subjects at GCSE, I have a solid understanding of what it takes to excel in these subjects. I have been privately tutoring for 2 years, continuously refining my teaching style to suit different learning needs.

In our lessons, we will decide where to start by focusing on your specific exam specification and your feedback on previous learning experiences. Each session starts with a recall question from previous lessons to help reinforce what you have already learned. This is based on the active recall technique, which involves retrieving information from memory to strengthen your long-term understanding of key concepts.

We will then move into the main focus of the lesson, where I will walk you through an example question from a topics, explain any tricky areas and show different ways these ideas and concepts may present in questions. After that, it's your turn to apply what you have learned through practice problems which I will pick out for you, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions along the way to develop your skills

We will finish each session with a brief discussion in the last 5 minutes, where you can ask me any other burning questions and reflect on whether you feel that you have achieved your goals for the lesson. My aim is to create a supportive, engaging environment that helps you build confidence and reach your full potential.
