I am a friendly and positive tutor who is able to assess the support that your young person needs and to help them achieve more! I am passionate about mathematics and excited to meet pupils who need support to get to the next level. I also have experience in dealing with math anxiety and additional needs. I believe that students can do maths and that it is not a matter of one size fits all. Therw are alternate ways I'd working through problems and for some students one way is better than the other. This helps them understand maths better and start enjoying it more!

I am experienced in teaching Maths to pupils of all abilities from year 7 to yer 11. I plan my lessons after evaluating the strength and areas of improvement so that the students get a customised ltutoring session that meets their needs. My lessons break down even the most complicated topics to simple parts that are easy to understand so that students are not overwhelmed. I am keen to model the process and them encourage guided practise before independently working on problems to ensure that they understand the concept properly.

Be it simpler topics or the more àdvaced, every lesson will be planned in accordance with latest evidenced based research in education. Therefore all my students can expect the lessons on the best practise guidelines to help them move ahead in math achievement.

I am available on the weekends and is able to fit in with majority of requests.
