Thanishia Baker Tbaker

I have worked with many grade levels including elementary, middle, school, high school, and college. I have strengths in language arts, reading, writing, and math. I have a bachelors degree in psychology and human services and a masters degree in social work. I love teaching students and it is truly my passion. I currently work as a teacher teaching fourth and fifth grade special needs students. I also have tutored students who have behavioral difficulties and students who are on the autism spectrum. I am willing to meet students on any educational level that they may be on. I know learning can be challenging as I have had issues in certain subjects when I was in school. I received the help I needed to succeed and become successful in life and I want to be able to not only make a difference in a child or an adults life, but I also want to help them to reach their full potential so they can be confident in their abilities to thrive in this world. If you give me a chance I will meet you where you are and we can definitely work together to figure out what your strengths are and what areas and subjects you may need a little bit of extra help in. I am available to work with your schedule and it does not matter whether is it day, night, or over the weekend on Saturday or Sunday. I am very flexible and will work with you.
