I have helped IGCSE students with the Maths subjects. As a student myself, I understand very well about those complex Mathematical background thinking that may have confused students. I do not approach the problems as teaching the students. I practice the peer learning approach where students can discuss their perspectives to the Maths problems.

After clear explanation of basic maths formulas and logics, we do the different calculations together. It won't be just me showing the steps of calculations. I feel more confident when I understand "why" questions when I do Maths. So I encourage my students to understand the logical behind any problems so they will be more confident in moving on to the advanced Mathematical problems in university
