In my 3+ years of tutoring, "consistency and discipline births success" is a quote I have instilled within myself and my students. I prefer to teach two lessons a week; initially one is for the teaching of content, the other is for the application of knowledge. However, I plan lessons according to the preference of my students, so I will adapt to what works best for them, as we progress. For GCSE students, it would be ideal to begin in Year 10, for A Level students, it would be ideal to start in Year 12, allowing for ample time to cover the entire specimen, but a year would also suffice in order to see great improvements. I work complimentary to the exam board specimen, and provide a weekly checklist to my students prior to the beginning of the first lesson of that week.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long for GCSE students, and 1 hour 30 mins for A Level students (as there will be more content to cover).
