I have experience tutoring at home and I have cultivated my own methods of teaching through giving lessons to students of secondary and primary education. I have observed students and learnt to replicate their way of retaining information into my teaching to optimise learning. I structure my lessons with a starter at the beginning possibly related to the previous lesson or something they have learnt previously. I follow this with an exercise which may be very interactive or independent and then see how they get on and formulate a plan of their weaknesses and strengths. In this way I can help improve their weaknesses and focus my lessons around them. Also, observe how they remember information and what sort of exercises help them learn and retain the most amount of information. I integrate these methods into my teaching and lessons.
