I reside in a Spanish speaking country and use the language daily. I try to put people at ease and know it takes bravery to begin to speak in another language. I focus on good pronunciation, grammar and developing a conversational style. I have traveled widely in Latin America and can teach cultural sensitivity and historical background.

Spanish is a very useful language as it is spoken in 23 different countries. It is lyrical and poetical, and you will have the opportunity to read and speak it until you are comfortable. I have many travelers' tales from a variety of Spanish speaking countries to entertain you with. Language use will open many doors for you.

Each lesson will address grammar, verb conjugations, and pronunciation and we will build on the learning experience of the previous lesson to progress step by step and of course there will be homework.
