In my experience as a tutoring, I have developed a passion for helping students succeed in their studies. With a year as a tutor at university I’ve had the privilege of tutoring my colleagues as well as those a year below me. As a result I have honed several qualities and teaching methods to varying students in other to adapt to their need to understand a subject.

I believe in creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment by patiently working with the student. Establishing a trusting relationship that fosters open communication, this creates a safe space that encourages students to ask questions express their thoughts and share their difficulties without hesitation.

I provide varying range of practice problem and exercises to students. I emphasise problem solving strategies and critical thinking skills to empower students to apply their knowledge to real world scenarios.

Regular monitoring the progress of students by continuing assessment. This helps me identify areas that need additional attention to provide constructive feedback and support.

Most times than ever all the student needs is confidence that they are smart and geniuses. What defines a genius is not what they can solve but what makes them unique. Being uniquely able to achieve their own goal. Without the fear of the problem before them by using their method to coming up with a solution. There are so many ways to solve a problem.

Ultimately I am committed to the success of the student and celebrate their achievements with them. I aim to empower my students in math and reach their full potential
