I have taught English as a foreign language in Barcelona for several years as a private tutor to native Spanish speakers. As a fluent Spanish speaker I understand the issues of learning language from a Spanish perspective. I have been teaching Spanish to adults for around 5 years, online and in person and especially concentrate on making lessons appropriate to the student. It's important to find out what the student needs, why they want to learn and to make each lesson fun and with relevant vocabulary and grammar at a pace that keeps them interested and energised. I use a variety of material and each lesson includes speaking, writing, listening and any related grammar. I am very friendly, approachable and enthusiastic and love teaching!!

I also teach art and cooking regularly so I am very experienced in tutoring in general.
