What all my classes have in common is complete patience and dedication to your progress. There is no judgement, scolding and unpleasantness. Ignorance is not a shame, but a space that we can fill together. Our common goal is for you to enjoy your Spanish lessons, speak the language and experiment, and not for them to be a nightmare. However, they have their own structure and are organised to improve your fluency, or prepare you for school (or other) examinations.
My lessons can be adapted to complete beginners, but also to those who have an intermediate level of knowledge. Language cannot be used without grammar, so we will follow the textbook for that purpose. However, most of the class is dedicated to free speech, so we can cover a wide variety of topics depending on your personal interests. My motto is a man cannot speak a language until he tries to speak it (however).
By education I am a philosopher, which could mean that I approach things very analytically and I am not superficial in anything I do. I also completed a master's degree in journalism, which makes me a very approachable, relaxed and communicative person.
I studied Spanish for 12 years with enjoyment and successfully passed the official Cervantes DELE exam.
I have experience studying philosophy in Spain in Spanish, which expands my vocabulary to professional topics.
I have several years of experience in teaching students Spanish and English, mostly 1:1 or in small groups.
