I am a friendly and dedicated tutor with over 7 years experience in teaching mathematics and other science subjects at all grade levels. I love to work as a team with my students to ensure tasks are completed and what might seem to be difficult becomes very easy. I achieve all of these by having a tutor-student interaction during lessons, tutor-students involvement in problem solving and as much as possible breaking down complex topics by means of practical representation, abstract reasoning and explanation and also applying logic to understanding. My online lessons involve using SAAS products like zoom, google meet, teams amongst others. I always get to evaluate my students at intervals during lessons in order to ensure they are following and understanding what is being taught. At the end of every lesson, I give my students task to prepare them for our next lesson. I have developed a comprehensive understanding of effective instructional strategies to engage pupils and students with diverse learning styles. My track record of success is evident through the consistently high performance of my pupils/students in standardized tests and competitions, as well as their improved overall mathematical aptitude. In addition to my teaching skills, I am proficient in incorporating technology into the classroom. I have effectively utilized interactive whiteboards, educational software, and online resources to enhance pupils/students’ engagement and facilitate personalized learning experience. Beyond the classroom, I am committed to lifelong learning and professional growth. I actively participate in workshops, and online communities to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and technological advancements. This enables me to incorporate innovative and interactive approaches into my instruction, making teaching more enjoyable for pupils/students.
