Tegan Godfrey

Hello! My name is Tegan. I have three years experience teaching and have previously tutored online international qualifications in science.
I am an engaging teacher with experience of the WJEC curriculum from KS3 to GCSE for double science, biology, chemistry and physics.
I am passionate about science and ensure that every learner is reaching their potential. My qualifications include BSc Ocean Science from University of Plymouth, and QTS gained through a PGCE from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Also, I am currently undertaking an MSc Astrobiology from Birkbeck University.
My patience, communication and planning ensure that every lesson is worthwhile and the most has been achieved within the lesson.
My lesson structure will involve an initial prior knowledge check before commencing learning. I will use an array of past paper questions and work through structures to ensure full marks are able to be obtained. I also ensure that learners are able to learn how to successfully create and use a revision guide so that they are able to learn throughout their lives. By using guidance from the examining body, we will also be able to ensure that all of the specification is able to be covered. This includes knowledge of required practicals.
I am flexible with my tutoring hours from evenings, weekends and holidays.
