I studied law at A-Level at Burnley College and then perused a degree in LLB Law. I currently give legal advice on housing for a homelessness charity and regularly deliver training on complex issues of the law.
To ensure that you are getting the most out of your session I first want to pinpoint your goal and what you wish to gain from tutoring. Furthermore, I love to learn your learning style and what works for you, to ensure you are getting the most out of your session.
I strive to create an environment where we are equal and you can be honest about which areas you feel need more work. My tutoring focuses on patience and tailoring the session to you. I will never push too far and we will only work in ways that support and comfort you. I aim to expand your knowledge and confidence in Law. Furthermore, I implement activities into each session so you get a feel for not only the theory of the law, but how it would be applied in every day life, preparing you for your next steps.
Lastly, I think it is important to consider your future goals and what you intend to do with your education in the Law. I found there was a pressure to pursue certain careers and educational paths after completing my A-level and then degree, and I hope to expand your knowledge on the many doors a legal background can open.
