Teacher Jonathan is a native-speaker from England, with a BA in English, and an MA Ed in Education. He has over twenty years experience in helping students with their English, grammar, reading, preparation for exams, English conversation, etc. Teacher Jonathan has taught IELTS, A1 to C2, IGCSE and A-Level Language and Literature. He has taught Business English, Adult Literature, and also Primary/Elementary School reading and creative writing.

Teacher Jonathan has been helping students with their English and pass their exams for over twenty years. He has taught students to A* in IGCSE Language and Literature and to IELTS 7.5. Jonathan is a Native-English speaker (NES) born in England. He has a BA (Hons) in English from University of Cambridge, and an MA (Merit) in Theatre from University of Exeter. He has a PGCEi (Post-Graduate Certificate in Education/Teaching Qualification) from University of Nottingham and has just completed a second Master’s Degree (MA Ed) in Education from University of Nottingham, with a Dissertation on teaching Literature. Teacher Jonathan believes education is a dialogue between student and teacher, with the teacher as a guide, to help develop the student’s responses, understanding, and expression in English.

Online lessons often include reading a story from a graded reader, feedback on home-work and sentences of new vocabulary, working on a grammar point, using a workbook. For Literature we can look at a poem, part of a play, and part of a novel. My favourite writers are Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, and the Bronte sisters.
