Hello, my name is Tazib, and I am willing to spend my time to teach Maths for young primary students. I am currently in university studying the degree BSc Business Management. Tutoring young children became my passion which allowed me to continue tutoring even further.
I have obtained the experience as I volunteered to work with children who are struggling with mental health issues and work part-time with CAHMS as a Young Person working for the People Participation Group. Ideally, it has enabled me to capture the skill of my strengthened communication skill with children and providing beneficial feedback for them. Through this, it has also allowed me to obtain the skill of offering emotional and cognitive support to children whilst also building a rapport with parents and guiding them on how to access their website by providing CAMHS beneficial feedback in improving their service with simpler instructions, as well as answering any queries. Moreover, this past experience I have collected will absolutely provide the young student the beneficial support and help in covering certain topics alongside with the given feedback. Furthermore, I have also obtained an indefinite skill of leadership and independence as CAMHS gave me the opportunity to lead and take part in workshops as a key worker for young children who are experiencing learning disabilities and/or have autism. As a person who struggled with anxiety, this took a huge step for me in improving my confidence and other types of skills that allowed me to work with other people cooperatively.
In addition to this, I have a confident experience of working with children such as coaching and teaching. With the use of these past experiences, it has beneficially motivated me in considering a future career job in becoming a Children’s Well-being Practitioner. Therefore, this thoroughly shows that I am willing to give my time to provide the necessary support for the young students in learning the following subject of Maths and support them in any way possible.
Based on this, I have honed an excellent understanding of the KS2 curriculum, providing the available support for them with the use of tailored worksheets for each individual student, and also carry out interactive and engaging activities as a guidance for them to learn more about the following topics. I have a very efficient contemporary knowledge of Maths and will be able to provide the available support for the student and complete an extensive number of accomplished topics for them. I will indefinitely provide them feedback regarding with the certain topics that highlights what areas they may find difficult so we can cooperatively work on those until it is finally learnt. As I progress with the number of topics with the student, I will be handing out mini-test papers to go over with what they have previously learnt as a summary which would allow me to identify and cover those areas that they are finding difficult until they have fully mastered the following topics.
