A course with a no nonsense style of teaching. This course is aimed at GCSE students who only want the information they need to pass their exams with the highest grade possible. I will be teaching you on a strictly need to know basis. I will also be giving out frequent assessments in order for us both to understand what you need to work on and what you have down already.
A standard lesson will look something like this:
- 5 minutes of asking how you feel about the last lesson and if there is anything you need to relearn or go over again.
- 10 minutes of teaching that topic (if necessary)
-30 minutes going over the content of the lesson. Generally you will learn a new exam technique or style of writing.
-10 minutes of trying questions with that technique or style as a focus.
-5 minutes of feed back
Of course depending on the length of the lesson these times will change but generally this will be the build of most lessons. Also nearing the exam period there will be far more exam question and less content (generally content will be taught upon request).
