I have experience tutoring at GCSE level and below, working with students from different Schools around Leicester which has given me an insight as to how different people prefer to learn and how to personalise each lesson to the individual. I also have extensive knowledge of the exam boards AQA, Edexcel and OCR.

All my lesson plans are tailored to your needs first and foremost. The topics that you are struggling on the most will be the main focus of our lessons, with frequent re-visiting of them topics and multiple short assessments on them to ensure they are not a problem come exam day. Alongside this, we will follow the order of the syllabus/exam board you are currently doing with general lessons and past-paper style questions. Homework may be set occasionally, but this would very much be based on you're schedule, and the homework will be very short and brief to perhaps gain a head start on a new topic or to quickly recap a previously covered lesson.

The teaching resources used in the lesson come from various different sources and websites to ensure that all styles and methodologies of questions are covered. We will work our way through lesson with this format:
1) An introduction and slight recap of the previous lesson
2) A demonstration of the working out methods for the topic and me walking through some questions
3) Some independent practice with questions provided and going through the mark schemes foe the questions
4) Closure, a quick review, perhaps one exam question from a past paper and some homework may be assigned
