I believe learning must be enjoyable and rewarding. I love to use a range of resources that inspire deeper thinking, challenge understanding and allow for practice of new skills. I make use of a whiteboard to model topics and questions and will provide the student with questions, tasks and challenges to work on (with my help)! I demonstrate exceptional ability to make complex concepts understandable and engaging. I believe I have a patient and tailored approach to ensure each student grasps fundamental principles, while my creative problem-solving techniques make learning enjoyable. I excel at identifying individual strengths and weaknesses, allowing the opportunity to adapt lessons to meet each student's needs effectively. I am dedicated to fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment that boosts students' confidence and academic performance. The consistent progress and improved grades of my students are a testament to my skill and commitment as an outstanding maths tutor.
I have been tutoring for over 12 years now and have worked with a wide range of young people, with differing abilities and needs. This has included children as young as 9 up until 19 years old, (as they completed a functional maths skills qualification needed for a vocational course). I am currently a part time maths teacher, teacher KS3-5 (including Core maths, a certificate in level 3 maths, an alternative to A level). I thoroughly enjoy working one to one with students and feel the extra lessons really help boost their confidence and therefore their progress.
I look forward to hearing from you.
