I will be using Zoom or Microsoft Teams to deliver my lessons, and I will be writing using a stylus on my screen since it allows me to lay out my mathematical methods with more ease. All writing work will then be sent to the student so they can look through what we did after the lesson is over. I will be walking through the concepts, so that a foundational knowledge of maths is built, and then setting work and going through practice questions with my students. I will also set some homework that we can go through together - no pressure to always finish it in time, it's just to enable more structured revision that is personalised for you. As there are multiple methods of doing certain maths questions, I will endeavour to walk through all the possibilities with my students so they can choose which method works best for them. Ultimately, I hope to develop their mathematical skills so that they achieve an A* at GCSE. Previously, I have tutored freelance in German and Maths and my students were set to achieve an A* in both.
