Hi, I am Tanya. I am an enthusiastic, friendly, and patient teacher with over 10 years of experience tutoring in person and online.
I have a BSc in chemistry and biology from overseas. In 2023, I was awarded British QTS.
I have experience working with students with special educational needs and practical experience working in a laboratory.
During I refreshed and proved my knowledge by completing my GCSEs at Adult Community College. I achieved a 9 (A*) in English and a 9 (A*) in mathematics and have developed a special passion for mathematics.
I will happily help anyone struggling with chemistry, biology, or mathematics and pass all my knowledge, passion and expertise to you!
All my lessons are tailored to the needs and abilities of my students. I thoroughly prepare every lesson. When I identify a knowledge gap, we always work on it until the student feels confident. First, I will show you how to solve a problem, and then you will have the opportunity to practice. We will use a workbook and worksheets. I have experience working with OCR, AQA, and Edexcel exam boards, and providing resources and support for exam preparation.
