As a former mentor at a coding boot camp, I had the opportunity to work with students from all over the world who were transitioning into a career in web development. I was responsible for preparing them for their new jobs and guiding them through the complexities of coding. This experience allowed me to develop a strong understanding of preparing engaging and accessible course materials and identifying and referring at-risk students to academic support services.

My lessons in web development focus on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and design to be hands-on, interactive, and challenging, with a strong emphasis on coding and problem-solving. Whether you're a beginner or looking to expand your knowledge, I am here to guide you every step of the way.

One of my students has described my teaching style as inspiring. They said, "How can I say enough good things about my mentor? You can tell he's passionate about coding and wants you to have as much fun with it as he does. I was sick of looking at my code until we met, and he walked me through this maze that I created on Codepen. He cleaned up my mess, pointed out where things went wrong, and gave me credit for what I could do. Despite being crazy-smart and knowledgeable, he never once made me feel dumb. I now feel pumped again to forge ahead, take on new challenges, test out different solutions, hammer at mind-boggling problems, and get to the bottom of things the way he does.
