Tamsin Hayes

Based on my experience from former studying and experience in GCSE, A levels and university, I will use this to guide the lessons. I am student led and will work on what the student feels they need most help with and offer advice and guidance. Having been a student recently I feel I am well equipped to tutor and will use my knowledge of the subject throughout lesson. I received top marks for my studies and feel this puts me in a good position to teach as I have a good working knowledge of the topic.
I often use the ‘see one do one teach one’ technique as part of learning.
Content of lessons can be anything psychological - whether this is statistics, research methods, essay writing or a particular topic.
Lessons will be led in a relaxed and friendly manner, creating a good alliance between tutor and student.
I have many psychology books I will base learning on but if you are following a curriculum for exams then you will need to supply this as part of the learning as I may not have access to it.
Whilst I am quite young, I am quite far in my psychology career already and have worked hard to get here. I have a lot of experience and want to be able to help young aspiring psychologists in their journey, as much as I can.
Sessions will range from 30mins - 1 hour based on need and availability and will be based online in the evenings due to work commitments.
