Having over 23 years of teaching experience in Primary, Secondary, and Special Schools as well as tutoring online for the past 4 years means I really am able to create, adapt and teach lessons that are able to really help each of my students to understand, learn and apply the topic being covered.
I specialise in helping students with SEN in particular. I have tutored online for the past 4 years and am also a TEFL-qualified teacher with a lot of experience in teaching English as a Foreign language.

I tailor each lesson according to each student- I believe that no two students are the same and so I always use the individual approach. Over the years, I have had the privilege to teach countless children, teenagers, and even a few adults!

I always endeavour to make my lessons engaging, challenging and progressive. I am a very enthusiastic and passionate teacher in all the topics I teach and try hard to pass this on to each student so they too can fall in love with learning!

I use the fully interactive classroom, Learncube, which is a fantastic platform for creating lessons that feel just as personal as a face-to-face lesson.

Tammy is one of the most incredible tutors I’ve ever had, she was so kind and helpful with all the advice she had given me and I’m progressing amazingly. She used a range of different methods such as colours to help me with my dyscalculia and I couldn’t be more grateful. I completely recommend her she is absolutely amazing, she is very patient and will make sure you are completely comfortable and understand what you’re learning in many ways. It was very easy to ask her questions without feeling stupid or dumb which is really important. 10/10 recommend

Tammy is a fantastic tutor, would highly recommend and so pleased we found her! My daughter was struggling with her confidence and had anxiety with English GCSE. She helped her to flourish and build her confidence back up, with great guidance and knowledge. She was calm, approachable and gave my daughter lots of reassurance during times of anxiety. My daughter looked forward to her lessons every week and is now back to enjoying English again and felt confident going into the exams. Tammy always gave detailed feedback after every lesson and kept me (mum) up to date. I’ve booked her for my youngest daughter for her GCSES next year! Thank you Tammy.
