The style of my lessons will be very informal as I believe that learning a language should be something fun therefore it has to be communicated in a simple way without too many formalities.
However, I will take a more structured approach when it comes to the setting of the classes.
I would speak to the students individually to understand their needs and goals so that I can taylor the lessons to their expectaions and learning style.
The content will vary from grammar to every day conversation phrases to more complex topics such as writing essays for example.
I have been a student for best part of my life so I have learn some good techniques with various tutors over the years. During my University years, I had teachers with different teaching styles and that inspired me to put some of these teaching methods in practice one day if I become a tutor myself.
The best approach to teaching is to keep it simple so that students can understand things easier. Real life examples always help to make students identify with certain situations and make the lesson more interesting.
I would also encourage students to work in groups if I have various students on the same platform or work individually and then exchange their work and give a constructive feedback on each others work so that they can support each other and achieve the best results from their excercises.
My classes will be mainly dilivered orally or via powerpoint slides.
