My lessons are dynamic, interesting and based predominantly on conversation and letting the student speak as much as possible. I believe the power of conversation and letting students speak their mind, to be an integral part of learning a new language. By speaking, we activate cognitive processes in our brain and students are 'forced' to find a way to express what they're thinking in form of words. In often case they can not remember the word they are looking for, they need to find a way to explain what they need with more words they are familiar with. This helps broaden their vocabulary, with the right kind of guidance provided by teacher, i.e. myself.
Conversational lessons best describe the style of my teaching, in ideal case, and I always tend to motivate students to speak as much as possible, while guiding them in that process. This kind of lesson also resonates with the students, since they are able to speak their mind on a specific subject, while gaining knowledge through dynamic and fun conversation, and not even being aware of their vocabulary expanding all the time.
I have vast experience in teaching English both offline and online, and what it has taught me is that well-guided conversations are the great tool for acquiring new language knowledge, as well as having wonderfully active and interactive lessons. My experience includes different types of lessons, which allows me to conclude that conversational lessons are the best way to go, especially when starting off with new students.
