My name is Tamara Nair and I am a qualified foundation phase teacher with one year of experience as an online tutor. I have completed my TEFL qualifications. I have a background in teaching learners of different ages. I have also learned how to accommodate all types of learners as well as how to adapt my teaching to each student. Something you should know about me is that I am highly creative and artistic, and you can always find me with a paintbrush or pencil in my hand.

I use a variety of formats when presenting my lessons such as flashcards, props, PowerPoint presentations, puppets, posters, and many more. I know how to maintain high energy levels throughout my classes to keep my students constantly engaged and eager to learn.

I use lots of rewards and encouraging words to create a safe and uplifting environment for students to feel free to express themselves. I love watching timid students blossom into confident and positive individuals.

I teach advanced English as a language as well as an introduction to the English language for beginners. My lessons incorporate the basics of the English language such as grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure. I also, teach my students how to read and write in English which is crucial for everyday life. My lessons are presented in a classroom-friendly environment with all the necessary resources at my disposal for an interactive and exciting lesson.

I have experience teaching learners of different ages and backgrounds in a classroom and online setting.
