I will contact the student so they can tell me what they want to go over in the next session. I’ll then prepare a lesson plan for the student, which generally involves teaching the content first and making sure that they understand. We will then go over practice questions to consolidate their knowledge on the content until they understand, making sure that they know how the content is used in exam settings.
Previous experience:
I have been teaching KS3 and GCSE Science since 2023 to students that were living close to me. I have taught GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics and all my students have said that they found it very beneficial. I am also a student and completed my GCSEs in 2022, so I am still familiar with the content and the style of questions.
Grades:
Grade 7 in GCSE Biology (equivalent to an A)
Grade 8 in GCSE Chemistry (equivalent to an A*)
Grade 8 in GCSE Physics (equivalent to an A*)
Grade B in A level Biology
