I was a slow learner in secondary school and finished as the best mathematics and science student. It’s incredible because, at the starting point, I never thought I could surpass my peers who were far ahead of me. I was determined, and I developed methods that worked for me.
I became an advocate for students who had difficulties in learning in 2004 after completing secondary school. I opened a tutorial centre in my community with hundreds of students on board, empowering them with academic achievements. I develop methods and plans that work for students with learning difficulties, which produce quality students.
I pursued my dream of becoming an engineer even when people told me that I was a born teacher. I studied industrial engineering at Yaba College of Technology from 2006 to 2008 and bagged a diploma certificate. I studied systems engineering at the University of Lagos and became exposed to applied mathematics, engineering mechanics, and electrical and mechanical engineering courses.
My passion for helping students discover their tendencies to excel in their classes and my teaching skills propelled me to start tutoring students in the university on the following courses: pure and applied mathematics, engineering math/calculus, physics, fundamentals of electrical engineering, statics and dynamics, signals and systems, thermodynamics, mathematical methods such as Laplace transformation, Fourier series and transform and other related fields.
I have built students from secondary schools and mentored them up to university level. I have earned different titles from students, such as professor, math guru, angel, and messiah, and some students call me T-square because of my engineering design proficiency.
