Or "Wow, I've been taking Spanish for years and I just learned more in the last hour than in most of that time." Well, I have heard these often in my 19 years of teaching and tutoring. I have helped students consistently excel in school and become competent Spanish speakers over the course of our working together on a regular basis.

About Me & My Experience Educating:

I’m a Certified and Credentialed K-12 Teacher with a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I've been teaching and tutoring for 19 years, including 5 years of Full Immersion Spanish in a Dual Language program. Spanish is my first language and I am fully fluent in both English and Spanish. I began my teaching career through the very competitive Teach For America program.

I’m also a Life Coach and founder of the Inner Wisdom Academy, a program that helps youth gain confidence, leadership, and social-emotional skills. So as a Learning Coach, I help your child with so much more than just academics.

I have helped students as young as four years old, and as old as medical health professionals and business executives learn and become confident in Spanish, Math, and in Common Core subjects.

I have also worked with gifted students, as well as students with disabilities such as Autism, ADD, and ADHD.

Hours, Location, and Availability:

My hours are flexible, but my schedule fills up fast. Will also work weekends.

I travel often, so we’ll meet virtually over Zoom or Skype.
