The first lesson will give us a chance to discuss learning goals, as well as get an understanding of personal strengths and weaknesses.

After this initial session I will get an understanding of how to tailor lessons to reach your goals, whether that's through a focussed approach on a specified area of speech and language, or through lessons which hit multiple aspects of learning the language.

One of my favourite things when I was learning Spanish was how engaging my teachers were able to make it all - they were able to design tailored activities for every aspect of the learning process and I could completely understand why. That's why learning Spanish with me will involve the use of a variety of resources and avenues for learning, including: question sheets, challenges, writing tasks and games. These exercises will give you the opportunity to get really comfortable with the material that we cover during sessions, as well as teach and encourage you to explore the language in a way that builds independence.

Learners will have every opportunity to communicate openly about how their learning is going and how the teaching can be better tailored to them. I recognise the value of communication in the teaching and learning process - especially, where it comes to learning languages!

These lessons will be great for anyone wanting to start learning Spanish, prepare for upcoming exams, sharpen up their skills, progress from their current level, gain confidence - or, even just try a different style of learning the language!
