I have experience teaching English to primary school students. Their lessons were tailored around books and movies that they were interested in. I extended beyond the media by explaining the vocabulary, sentence structure, and grammar that were present. I tailor my lessons to my students' interests, as interest is crucial to learning languages.
In addition, I have experience tutoring English and Chinese based on school content. As the content is more fixed, I learn their materials beforehand and extend beyond their textbooks to better their understanding.
I believe everyone has different preferences regarding learning a language; therefore, I have adapted to the needs of all my students to better their learning journey.
