I have helped plenty of students improve their A level, IB or GCSE grade to get into the school or university of their choice. I have also helped students get scholarships to top schools such as Eton and Westminster.
My lessons are tailored to the students needs, I have a huge bank of knowledge and past papers and I can quickly adapt a lesson where required.
I get to know the students and their learning styles very well and deliver bespoke lessons for individual students. In the past, I have delivered the same material to different students from the same class at school in very different ways.
My experience as an A level, GCSE and IB examiner allows me to break down questions and show students exactly what is needed to get a great grade. I also teach geography in a fantastic independent school. As an IB internal assessment moderator and an NEA moderator, I know what exam boards are looking for.
For younger students, I will usually do a lesson I prepared earlier, including skills and short essay writing.
As students get older, they tend to know better what they need to cover in a lesson and will ask for a particular topic or technique and I can adapt my lesson to that.
My lessons are usually a combination of subject knowledge and exam technique, making sure students know and understand the content fully before applying it to different types of exam questions.
I am available on Weekday evenings, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and at weekends.
