Having taught both children ranging from 3-11 in a classroom environment, and equally adults individually aiming to improve their proficiency in English, Italian and French, I can safely say I am ready for pupils of all ages and backgrounds.
Indeed, my teaching is based on the principles I have cultivated throughout my own studies. In fact, it is important to note that I have been in the same position as all of you; having begun French at the age of 11, and Spanish at 13, I have encountered the traditional pitfalls and difficulties of the formal education system. Equally, with Italian, I have experienced the informal, learning it through speaking with family members, before continuing this learning at University along my French studies.

I equally have extensive literary, historical and cultural knowledge to impart, and I am sure whatever you may enjoy in these realms, I can find something to spark your interest!

My lessons will be dictated by the needs and wants of the student; if you require strict grammatical instruction, I will be happy to do so. Equally, if you require more conversational, cultural aid, I will structure my lessons on a more speech-focused course.

In my experience, learning languages is something which is extremely eye-opening, and not solely a means to communicate. As a student of Italian and French, in the linguistic, historical, literary and cultural sphere, I can find something to get you engaged in language learning, however that may be!
