I have been teaching primary to secondary students at home back in india from nearly 2 years
I use to teach maths science and social specifically biology in science
I would check your school textbooks and teach you according to the lessons in your textbook and help you out with the doubts
I would check what the teacher in school have taught you and i would check the homeworks, projects etc to be done
I even take online classes ill help out with each and every doubt as a responsible teacher does
Apart from studying i also use to give them a short break in between to set up their minds as continuously studying can make you less focused as you go on
I take class for nearly 1 to 2 hours whether it is in person or online with break of 5 mins after every 30 mins of studying
I want children to enjoy while studying i keep them entertained so that their focus remain intact
The main motive is to make the subject enjoyable and not boring for them so that they can learn it easily with concentration
Neat handwriting should also be maintained if the student doesn’t write neatly i also help them with that
Parents interference is also an import part they should take part in their childrens studies no matter how much they are studying in school or tuition but they should also keep an eye
I could definitely say that my students will enjoy studying with me and they will surely fell in love with the subject they didn’t liked
Also i would have a talk with their parents just to know about how the kid is performing in school and at home
