I am an motivated A-level student that is passionate about helping other students reach their full potential through improving in gcses and/or a-levels. I strongly believe all students have the chance to succeed and I am willing to be there and help the students to reach their confidence with their subjects. I like to involve mostly past papers in my teaching as they give students an idea of what the real exam would look like. Doing walkthroughs with exam questions is what I’ve researched a lot of students finding effective. Furthermore, I like to use visual aids to help the student make sense of complex content into simpler parts. I like to involve teaching with whiteboards as it us very interactive and helpful!
In addition, for psychology, showing students how to use essay plans is extremely helpful and practice writing essays.
And for biology and chemistry, plenty of exam questions with visual aid and learning exam techniques along the way which I will aid with will be helpful.
I always want my students to know they can always contact me asking me any questions about the subject, but not only academically, my students are more than welcomed to speak with me if they need help mentally or in any way. I want my students to know I am there for them, to help them reach their potentials and make sure nothing is blocking them from their success. My aim is to make the students feel more confident with their subjects, turn it into something they love and look forward to and by doing that, not only would I boost their grades but also their interest for that subject.
