1-1 and 1-3 online tutoring with students at A-level, GCSE, and 13+/11+ for a combine total of ~500 hours and 40 students . I have also tutored students for the 13+ entry into private schools like Winchester/Eton college and assisted with UCAS personal statements as well as university entrance exams.
All of my lessons are conducted online via a combination of online whiteboards and video sharing platforms like Zoom as I have a high-speed internet connection, and the audio/visual quality to make the experience both just as good and more convenient than in person tutoring.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long and objective oriented but the first lesson is dedicated to establishing a baseline and getting the student used to my teaching style.
Lessons will use zoom as a way to facilitate video sharing and a mixture of zoom whiteboards and google classrooms for the actual lessons, ideally the student will have access to these as they are fairly widespread. The exact content of the lesson depends on the goal, for example, if a student requires help in a certain topic of physics in preparation for an exam, I might teach about the topic using notes on a whiteboard for the first half of the lesson while the second half is dedicated to doing past exam questions on that topic from the student's exam board. Whereas if a student wants a quick refresher of a subject I might briefly cover many topics and provide access to resources they can use to dive deeper into specifics.
