Syed Maaiz Asim Asim

Hi, I am a Second-year physics student at Imperial College London. I am very passionate about my field as it promotes problem-solving and logical thinking while allowing creativity that allows you to express yourself as an individual.

I am a clear and patient communicator with experience with different studying methods to help understand different topics and suit everybody's unique style. I use methods that develop interest in the subject and promote questions as they help create a healthy learning environment and boost confidence. The main purpose of my lessons will be to make the most productive use of the student’s time and help them understand the underlying concept behind each problem. I have refined these techniques by teaching at a local tuition centre. As I have undertaken exams during the pandemic I am aware of the difficulties students go through and I am passionate about helping those students recognise and exceed their potential. By volunteering at a local community centre I am able to maintain a welcoming atmosphere. I have 3 years of experience teaching students of all ages and have taught in different styles and settings. I am confident in my ability to help students recognise the issue they are struggling with and guide them.
