I worked as a teaching assistant during my undergraduate degree, working in the psychopathology classroom. I specialize in psychopathology and research methods, along with introduction to psychology and AP psychology. I tend to take more of a casual teaching style, where I explain complex topics in simpler terms in order to ensure a high level of understanding. I am very friendly, and tend to go about teaching in a more conversational tone, which less emphasis on the typical dynamic of teacher and student, and more student to student, where we can learn and expand our knowledge and perspectives together. I have a Bachelor of Science in psychology, and am actively pursuing my Masters in Clinical Mental Health counseling. I have expertise in scientific writing as well, specifically psychology related research papers. I have some statistics knowledge in relevance to psychology as well. Most importantly, I want our sessions to be low pressure, with no fear of making mistakes. I welcome any and every level of psychology knowledge, and look forward to widening student’s breadth of knowledge, and hopefully giving them a mentor in the field as well.
