My approach can be fully adaptable depending on your needs, experience and/or existing knowledge. A good way to start off is by establishing what you already know, what you would like to learn and focus on, what ambitions you have, some goals we can set for you, and how best that I can adapt the contents of our lessons to suit your learning style best!
I believe when it comes to learning instruments that incorporating basic music theory into the lessons makes for a wider understanding of music as a whole, and enables you to apply your knowledge of your specialist instrument to other instruments and/or musicians playing them. Music Theory NEVER has to be boring and I like to incorporate it in a way that means it is not always the main focus because sometimes music sounds even better when you ignore the rules and follow your own intuition!

I have great resources to build our lessons around and can easily accommodate for any times where you may, for example, be booked in for ongoing Guitar tuition, however one week you saw a video about recording music and suddenly would like some information and lessons more focused on Production. There are so many interesting areas within the music industry and with experience in Songwriting, Playing/Performing, Live Sound, Music Production, Music Industry, Tutoring, Music Theory and more, I'm confident that we can draw from all aspects that interest you and nurture your talent in a unique way tailored to you!
