In my class, I normally alternate between 3 types of sessions, namely
1. Grammar,
2. Article reading (for pronunciation and vocabulary) and
3. Free discussion followed by writing (for speaking and writing practice)
If my student is preparing for a competitive exam, I like to plan my sessions to cover all of the syllabus. I like to keep my sessions interactive and engaging.
As regards my experience, I have 15 years of teaching American and Indian students both in-person and virtual. I am currently teaching students in UAE through an online learning platform. I am technology friendly and open to helping sessions on the platform which the student is most comfortable with. Additionally, I am TEFL certified, which helps me work with varied age groups of learners with diverse language backgrounds. I am a highly organized, flexible and resourceful educator with an excellent verbal and written communicative abilities.
