I am a Dynamic English Teacher/Theatre Coach with vast experience working in schools, online and with theatre companies. I am able to provide support for KS3 & KS4 students in their English studies or in preparation for exams.
As a native speaker, I am a strong communicator skilled in tailoring engaging lessons for all abilities, ages and backgrounds. I'm passionate about English and the Arts in education, e- learning and exploring new ways to enhance students' skills and knowledge.
I like to use a variety of methods in my lessons to ensure students' develop their skills in a well rounded manner and can explore which techniques work best for them as an individual. I am committed to building confidence through understanding misconceptions with patience and a good sense of humour.
As a teacher and performer I totally understand anxiety and work hard to make my students feel as relaxed as possible during their lessons. I enjoy learning new skills and exploring new cultures, I am currently studying Spanish and Italian languages so I understand the frustrations you might face when learning a new language. I also teach LAMDA exams and am happy to assist students in preparation for this.
In addition to teaching I love Music (both performing with my band and listening), Theatre, travel (I love learning about new cultures), good food, movies and animals.
