I am a native speaker of German and have taught my first language for more than 25 years. My German is accent-free ("Hochdeutsch").

I believe in "ringing the changes", because learning a language should be fun! My approach is interactive with lots of activities to improve the skills of speaking, reading, listening and writing. A typical session could cover:
Conversations about daily experiences and current affairs
Small talk - meeting and greeting
Expansion of vocabulary, including idiomatic expressions
Grammar, for example, typical mistakes
Job applications with feedback
Reading and pronunciation activities, for example newspaper articles
Students` own contributions with feedback
Anything you would especially like me to cover in the sessions

My students have told me that I can explain matters clearly and that I am encouraging and patient. My ethos is to be always well-prepared and to look after my students. I am happy to answer any questions per email.
