About me

A patient and enthusiastic tutor for all levels of understanding of GCSE chemistry. I have a BSc in chemistry with forensic analysis and have worked in industry. I have enjoyed tutoring for 5 years, covering the AQA and Edexcel iGCSE examination boards. My aim is for students to enjoy their learning experience and feel more confident in sitting their exams. A patient and enthusiastic tutor for all levels of understanding of GCSE chemistry. I have a BSc in chemistry with forensic analysis and have worked in industry. I have enjoyed tutoring for 5 years, covering the AQA and Edexcel iGCSE examination boards. My aim is for students to enjoy their learning experience and feel more confident in sitting their exams. My online sessions use a platform which sends a pdf of the contents and an audio recording for each lesson to the student and tutor at the end of the session. Most students find it beneficial to cover a requested topic, using notes and examples to understand the area and then consolidate this with some practice questions. If a different approach is more helpful, I am happy to adapt accordingly, but always going at the pace of the student and answering any questions along the way.
